Ok I was checking out a website that shows the sun, you can view images by any date and time and even make movies.
(site: http://helioviewer.org/)

The date I entered was
2010/12/06
The time
03:00:00

The anomaly starts at 03:00:00 and ends at 03:25:00 so it is visible for a duration of only 25 minutes.

I have never seen this before...

any ideas?

Ok so analyzing what we are seeing...

a round "something" moves into view on the right, and slowly goes up and disappears...

Wow that's really interesting. I came here expecting an easily debunked photo but I honestly have no idea what could have caused that.

edit: get's even creepier. if you go to the SOHO search and type in the date 2010-12-06 and end date of 2010-12-06 there's only 2 EIT images for the whole day and the LASCO images are all there EXCEPT there's a gap during 3:00, the time the object passed. It seems the SOHO website has removed any proof of this object.

Thats amazing.

At least to my amateur eyes.

I know little about the planet x/nibiru theory but how could anything pass between us and the sun?

Even the theoretical dwarf wouldn't have that orbit, would it?

I also noticed it's seem to have the same elliptical curvature as the sun suggesting it's close to the sun and of equal size. Possibly a optical illusion.?.?

Really like to know....

it cannot be an illusion and the proof is in the fact that the light of the sun is clearly reflecting off of the mysterious round thing in several of the photos

also how is it that SOHO has no data for this time period?

strangely 12/06/2010 (yesterday) was also the day that we had a huge magnetic flare from the sun, although the round anomaly and the flare occurred at completely different times.

I'm more interested in why SOHO have no images of that date. I mean, one of their satellites has photos but there's a gap where the object passed in front of the sun. I've looked on Google and can't find anyone else that's posted this.

What I'm confused about is that the image of the sun is identical in each picture, regardless of the other object.

I think this may be some design of a shutter, since there seems to also be a faint outline of this around the whole picture :huh:

You're right. It was only 25 minutes between the first and last image though and since the sun is so large it takes filaments and other things on the sun a while to move.

mathematical probability?

this is the transit of venus.

it has approx 90% of the surface area of earth.

this is the moon passing in front of the sun

it has just about 7.5% of the surface area of earth.

so.... theres really NO telling how big it is.....

If you go to the heliviewer posted in the OP and change the Observatory from SOHO to SDO - which is a whole different spacecraft - the object is still visible.

at about 10 seconds in, you see the planet or whatever it is quickly pass by

it is obviously real and very "there".

Why is NASA hiding this?

Solar eclipses are known and scheduled years in advance.

The orbit of our other planets are just as predicable.

EDIT TO ADD: the object is reflecting the bright flares spots from the sun. Does this mean the object is close to the sun?

well its definitely a real object, the light quality changes when it transits. but its pretty impossible to tell how big it is or how far away it is.

Seems like this should be on a star-nerds calender somewhere if it's a familiar part of our solar system.... right?

do you know how much stuff is in the solar system?

its like knowing 100 things out of 10,000,

i was giving you some proof that you cant know how big it is or where its located because of perspective.

not to mention that nibiru, or planet x, has always been traditionally located you know, somewhere where it doesnt pass between the earth and the sun, otherwise we would have noticed it. could have something to do with 2012.

I have no doubt it's a real object.

And I'm aware that perspective can be near impossible to determine in images like these.

But their seems to be light reflecting off the surface of the object coinciding with the emitted light from sun spots/flares.

I realize this could happen at any distance from the sun,but the angle of reflection should help determine how close/big it is.

I have done some checking

There was no partial eclipse due at all.

here is some info regarding SOHO

SOHO moves around the Sun in step with the Earth, by slowly orbiting around the First Lagrangian Point (L1), where the combined gravity of the Earth and Sun keep SOHO in an orbit locked to the Earth-Sun line. The L1 point is approximately 1.5 million kilometres away from Earth (about four times the distance of the Moon), in the direction of the Sun. There, SOHO enjoys an uninterrupted view of our daylight star.

Notice NASA says that SOHO enjoys an uninterrupted view. :wink:

back to eclipses the only annular solar eclipse was Jan 25 of this year.

Not that it would bother SOHO as it is 1.5 million kilometers away enjoying an uninterrupted view of the solar star :lol:
